Resonant leaky modes play a central role in governing the optical or acoustic properties (i.e., absorption or scattering, reflection/transmission) in an open optical or acoustic system. In this talk, I will discuss our recent progress in resonant leaky modes in either all-dielectric metestructures or acoustic resonators. In the first part, I will talk about the general mode properties in a single dielectric structure. Then, I will move to discuss a particular leaky mode so called bound states in the continuum in photonics and acoustics, and their applications in enhancing light-matter interactions.
报告人简介:
黄陆军博士于2017年在美国北卡罗莱纳州立大学材料科学与工程系获得博士学位,2018年赴澳大利亚新南威尔士大学从事博士后研究,师从介质超材料专家Andrey Miroshnichenko教授,2022年6月即将加盟华东师范大学物理与电子科学学院。黄博士目前主要从事全介质纳米光子学,声学超材料,二维过渡族金属硫化物等领域的研究, 在知名学术期刊Reports on Progress in Physics, Nature Communications, Science Advances, Nano Letters, ACS Nano, Advanced Photonics, Laser Photonics Review等发表SCI论文四十余篇,论文被他人引用1300余次
